When most of the plates in a pack are worn, a complete replacement plate pack is often the most cost-effective way to return the unit to service.
Overview
Replacing the whole pack
A plate pack is the complete set of plates and gaskets that sits between the frame and pressure plates. Replacing it as a set returns the heat-transfer surface and seals to new condition in one step, while reusing the frame, connections and pipework.
For planned servicing, gasket sets for the whole pack can be prepared ahead of a shutdown so the unit isn’t left open waiting for parts. Our standard supply is high-quality compatible parts that match or exceed the original OEM specification — the practical, cost-effective choice for most repairs. Genuine OEM parts are available on request.

Identification
What we need to identify the right part
- Manufacturer and model
- Serial number from the nameplate
- Number of plates in the pack
- Plate dimensions and port positions, if the nameplate is missing
- Plate and gasket material, if known
- Photos of the nameplate, the unit and a plate
Compatibility
Compatibility and correct selection
A complete pack must match the frame’s plate size, porting and pack length, and be assembled in the correct plate sequence. We confirm the arrangement from the nameplate and the existing pack before supply.

Is a new plate pack cheaper than a new unit?
Usually, because the frame, connections and pipework are reused. We’ll compare the options for your unit.
Can you install the new pack?
Yes — as part of a workshop service or rebuild.
Can the plate count change?
Sometimes. If the duty has changed we’ll check whether plates can be added or removed within the frame.
