Look for the nameplate on the frame — it usually shows the manufacturer, model and serial number. A clear photo of it is the quickest way for us to identify the right parts.

It depends on the fluids, temperature and cleaning regime. NBR, EPDM and Viton are common choices; tell us the media and conditions and we’ll recommend one.

Ideally the two fluids, their flow rates, inlet and outlet temperatures, allowable pressure drop and design pressure. If you don’t have everything, send what you have and we’ll work through the rest with you.

Brazed units are compact and suit clean media; gasketed units can be opened, cleaned and expanded. The duty and the media usually decide it.
